Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine plans to reform Ukrtransecurity
The Ministry of Infrastructure plans to "restart" the State Transport Service of Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy on the air of 112 Ukraine.
“I will now look very closely towards Ukrtransecurity to restart them. It is necessary to fundamentally change the situation, because they operate in the format of the old State traffic inspectorate instead of being a civil service-oriented body that would automate all the processes as much as possible, ”said Crickley.
The Minister expects that after the reform of the agency, roads in Ukraine will “live longer” due to the disappearance of congested vehicles. According to him, this will also be facilitated by the introduction of weight-in-Motion (WiM) systems and the transfer of communication by Ukrtransecurity inspectors from the road (communication with the driver) to the back office (communication with the owner of the cargo).
Kricliy pointed out that the primary task now is to change the team and update the ministry.
In addition, the Minister stressed that he did not plan to arrange a “witch hunt”.
